Administrators should be aware of the free applications that are out there for them to use. There are sites like google that offer several different tools such as the calendar, igoogle, mail, etc all for free. With limited funds it is important to utilize free programs that can not only help an administrator stay organized but will also save time.
Surveymonkey is an excellent way to get teachers or staff to vote on any issue without having to print, pass out and collect paper. Doodle would be a great way for principals to send out invitations for an event and figure out the best time works best for everyone. These are all good time saving sites that can quickly get you feedback.
An administrator already has enough things to do in a day they should also take advantage of these free time savers.
